Early Student Collection Reminder

Signing out students ~ Class Interruptions 

We have noticed there have been more and more parents picking children up early from school.  Each time a message is put over the PA system it interrupts student learning. Please only pick up your child/ren early if they have an appointment. 

From Term 2, PA announcements will no longer be made for early collection of students, instead, parents will be given a ‘green pass’ from the office and will need to collect children themselves from classrooms. Parents will also need to sign students out using the student register which is now automated through an iPad in the office.

New - Changes to students end of day routine - If there are changes to students end of day routine, we ask families to notify the office prior to 2.45pm where possible.  As we are limiting announcements and phone call interruptions to the classroom this will allow the office to send blue 'Office Note' messages to your students classrooms before the end of the day.  

UPDATED - ST MELS SCHOOL FEES

Fee statements have been emailed out this week.  If you have not received yours please check your spam or junk mail in case it has landed in there, or contact the school office with an up to date email address.  

Please do not hesitate to contact the office if you have any questions regarding your account.  

The successful running of school programs for your child’s education relies on fees being paid.   

Should you be experiencing financial difficulties or family hardship we strongly urge you to contact Chris Summers to have a discussion about your individual situation, for a possible payment plan or fee assistance.

Direct Debits

If you were using Direct Debit in 2021 for payment of school fees, this was not automatically recommenced.  We were required to have a new signed Authority form for this to occur, if you have not done so and would like for direct debits to begin, please contact the office for a new authority form to be sent home, or print off the attached form below.

If you have not seen any deduction from your bank account for St Mel's school fees and you believe they should have, please contact the school office as soon as possible.

Alternatively if you require changes to your direct debit in any way, please contact the school office.

Centrepay

Centrepay is now available for those families who wish to use this option to support payment of the school fees. Information sheet and application form are attached below. Once application form is filled in and signed, please return to school office.

 

Families Email Address

We ask families to ensure that the office has the correct and up to date email address for billing purposes and sending of fee statements.  

This is the main form of communicating relevant information. 

If you have not received your Fee Statement it may mean we have an incorrect email address. Please check your junk folder or contact the office with up to date information.
