Hi all, welcome to Term 3. 

Term 3 is a busy, exciting time for our library and our love of books and all things about reading. 

We like to call it BOOK MONTH!!

New - Scholastic Book Club

Scholastic Book Club - Issue 5 is now open, please see the flyers below for relevant information.

Please have orders in by Friday 29th August.

New - PRINCIPAL’S READING CHALLENGE – 

2nd - 26th August

Students will receive a reading Journal to record how many books they read for the month of August. There will also be small prizes handed out throughout the month.

New - INCURSION – 15th August

Perform education will be putting on a performance at school which will be based around a few of the shortlisted Book Week books. Last year was online

 so we are really looking forward to seeing them live.

New - CBCA BOOK WEEK – 20th – 26th August

The theme this year is “DREAMING WITH EYES OPEN”

During this week students will discover new books, do activities and have lots of fun around our Book Week books.

New - BOOK FAIR – 22nd – 26th August

Larrikin house will be supplying our books for the book fair this year. This will run at different times during the week where parents will be able to purchase with their children or children will be able to purchase them at school with their class. 

So as you can see there is a lot happening! Please stay tuned for further updates as these events get closer to the date.
