Getting Along Surveys
As part of our focus on Learner Wellbeing students will be completing Getting Along Surveys over the next few weeks.
Students are surveyed about the behaviours they observe happening at school in the class and yard and give feedback to each other about positive behaviours like: including others, helping and caring for others, being kind and showing respect.
We also ask them to let us know if there are people in their class who use behaviours that don’t help people to get along, like: students who spread rumours, exclude others, physically or verbally bully others.
Class responses will be collated and this information will be used to recognize students who are using our school values and to identify students who need to improve their behaviour.
Teachers will work with students individually, in groups or as whole class to keep Lockleys North Primary School free from harassment and bullying. Classes and students who achieve excellent results, will be recognised at assemblies.
If required, teachers may follow up the survey with special behaviour plans and or with parent interviews. Leadership staff may also be involved in the development of these plans.
