LNPS Choir

Last week our choir visited Colonel Light Gardens Primary School to have training to learn some of this year's songs with the Festival of Music conductor and accompanist. Thankyou to Ira Henkel for meeting us there and joining in the learning. The choir is looking forward to performing soon at an assembly.

Early Years Swimming

Swimming lessons will commence on Tuesday 24 March for LA1, LA2, LA3, LA4 and Tuesday 7 April for LA5, LA6, LA7, LA8.

Students will attend in whole class groupings and be divided into proficiency levels of beginners, intermediate or advanced groups with the DECD Instructors. 

The lesson start times and finish times will be:

Week 9 Tuesday 24 March - Friday 27 March

The bus will leave school 30 minutes prior to the lesson start time

Payment by: 19 March

Yr 1/2: LA1 & LA3 - 1:00pm – 1:45pm

Yr 1/2: LA2 & LA4 - 1:45pm – 2:30pm 

Week 11 Tuesday 7 April- Friday 10  April

The bus will leave school 30 minutes prior to the lesson start time

Payment by: 29 March

Rec: LA 8 - 11:00am – 11:45am

Yr 1/2: LA 5 - 11:45am – 12:30pm

Rec: LA 6 - 1.00pm   – 1.45pm

Rec: LA 7 - 1:45pm   – 2:30pm

We are looking forward to another exciting and successful program.  The children thoroughly enjoyed their lessons last year.  It will be good to see them build on their skills. Please see the attachment for curriculum outcomes and details about the swimming program for R-2 students.
