Farewell - Lee Aigner

After 44 years of dedicated service to teaching and educational leadership in Victoria, Mrs Lee Aigner will be retiring from her position at the end of this term.

Lee began her career in 1979 at Mordialloc Primary School, and after appointments at Ballam Park and Rowellyn Park Primary Schools, arrived at Black Rock PS in 2008.

Lee has contributed significantly to the Black Rock PS community through a range of classroom teaching and leadership roles over the past 15 years, with roles and responsibilities including:

  • Acting AP
  • Disability and Inclusion Leader
  • Junior School Coordinator
  • English Coordinator
  • PLT Leader
  • School Council Member for 10 years

Focused primarily on the early years and through her expert teaching, care and dedication in the classroom, Lee has contributed to the learning and wellbeing of countless students, helping them to get off to the best possible start in life.

I know you will join me in thanking Lee for that care and dedication towards her students and we know that Lee and her students will miss each other immensely as she begins this next phase of her life.

We will acknowledge Lee's contribution to the BRPS community at assembly on Monday morning.
