Student Achievement Awards - 5/6/2023

Congratulations Ashton on your energy and enthusiasm during classroom activities. After reading the book 'Mrs Wishy Washy' you wrote a fantastic recount. You carefully sounded out each word and made sure to form your letters correctly. 

Fantastic work in reading this week Liam! After reading the book 'Mrs Wishy Washy' you identified the different characters, made puppets and retold the story in your own words. You made sure to include extra detail and even mentioned how the characters were feeling and why. Keep up the great work.

Well done Anvi for all your fantastic writing this week! You wrote very detailed instructions on how to draw a robot. I am sure all your friends would love to learn to draw a robot using your instructions. Keep up the wonderful work!

Congratulations Andy on your fantastic sentences about a sloth. You carefully sounded out each word to work out the spelling as well as writing the words correctly on the lines. You came up with some awesome words to describe what your sloth was doing. Keep up the great work. 

Evelyne, well done last week for your reflection on our excursion to Cranbourne Gardens. You created a beautiful page for our class book with a carefully written caption and detailed border. Keep up the amazing work!

Ellie, it was wonderful to see the genuine interest and positivity you showed during our excursion to Cranbourne Gardens. You worked cooperatively in a team during the education session to create a beautiful mandala. You also shared your knowledge and wonderings while exploring the gardens. Congratulations!

Well done Risinu for the wonderful achievements you made in maths last week. You were able to identify regular and irregular polygons, and identify 2D shapes based on the number of internal angles they have. Congratulations! 

Congratulations Francesca on your positive attitude towards overcoming some challenging tasks in Mathematics. You have shown the determination and will to not 'Give Up' when attempting to solve the more difficult problems. Keep up that learning drive Francesca!

Congratulations to Hayley for her wonderful participation in our Socratic discussion about ‘Street Art’. Hayley prepared well for the session by completing her homework template thoroughly. This enabled her to confidently participate in the discussion by posing a question and contributing her ideas.

Congratulations Leo, on your ability to show compassion and empathy to your peers. The maturity you display when resolving social conflict is fantastic. You are a superstar!
