Congratulations Usman on your amazing focus and determination towards your mathematics activities. You were able to measure the length of different objects with informal units, such as unifix. Keep up the great work!

Well done Carl for showing such determination in every subject this week! You worked extremely hard in phonics, reading and blending words with more than one syllable and helping others who were finding it hard. 

Congratulations Gemma on the clear way you explained how to play a Maths Game to your partner. You were able to demonstrate how to take a turn and give clear instructions so it was easy to follow and play. Well done.

Well done Riley! You've been working so hard on your reading. You're making fantastic connections between the text and your own experience, and growing in confidence to share about your understandings in class. Keep up the good work!

Well done Sofia on your work in Geography last week. You identified that Australia is a continent, a country and an island and wrote about the special animals we have in Australia. Keep up the excellent work Sofia!

Well done Lucas on working through the writing process to publish a very persuasive text titled 'Snow Holidays are the Best!'. You included various openers, persuasive language and three different reasons organised into paragraphs. Congratulations Lucas!

Awesome learning in maths last week Costa! It was great to see you identifying right angles, acute angles and obtuse angles with so much confidence. Congratulations on making so many positive learning choices in the classroom this term. Well done.

Congratulations Uyoung on your wonderful persuasive writing. You included five reasons with examples and used persuasive language to convince the reader. It was great to see you use the 'Power of Three' and repetition to engage your audience. I am sure your writing could convince Mrs Freeman to let you bring your dragon to school!

Congratulations Navika on your very convincing and descriptive persuasive writing on 'Why l would like a Pet Dog?' Your engaging piece of writing demonstrated the ability to paragraph correctly, make selective use of high modality words, such as 'MUST' and to elaborate on your reasons, using examples as evidence. Spectacular writing Navika!

Congratulations Adaliah on your efforts in writing this past week. Your persuasive piece included humour and exaggeration to get your point across. I especially liked your hyperbole comparing piles of homework to the Burj Khalifa building! You've taken onboard feedback and edited your work well. Keep up the great effort!
