We offer beginner level HTML & CSS, and Django & Python workshops, in a self-paced environment, mentored by industry professionals. Plus we offer lunch, cupcakes and a quick dance break in the afternoon. No experience is necessary – just a laptop, a sense of adventure and a willingness to learn.
Our goal is to increase the diversity in the tech community, spark collaboration, creativity, and expand networks!
NIE | Simulated UCAT Day Workshop, Online

If you are in Years 10, 11, 12, or you may be older and considering sitting the UCAT in the future, then this program is for you. The Simulated UCAT Workshop program is ideal and often a necessary step towards effective and efficient preparation for the UCAT.
This event will be conducted by the National Institute of Education in partnership in partnership with UCAT Preparation Australia, and MICAS (Medical Interviews and Career Advice Services).
The workshop is primarily designed to cover fundamental techniques in navigating all five sections of the UCAT test and also for participants to gain a better understanding of their own level of preparedness for the test.

Deakin | Forensic Detective Program
June 5 to June 9, 2023
Year 9 and 10 students participate in an interactive 3-hour workshop in our science laboratories, giving students the chance to work in a real-life setting. Activities completed by students are related to entomology, fingerprinting, pollen, hair and fibre analysis, as well as chemistry, blood and DNA analysis.
