Prep

In Prep classes, an increasing number of students are now diving into the world of virtual reality (VR) with Bogo. Alongside their VR adventures, the students have a range of creative activities to choose from. Some are exploring the basics of coding with Scratch Jr., others are discovering the principles of coding through fun challenges with LightBot. Many students are also making use of the school nibblers to design and craft various projects.

Grade 1/2

Grade 1/2 students are making great progress with TypingClub, honing their typing skills and improving their accuracy and speed. In addition, they are expanding their coding abilities with Scratch Jr., creating more complex and interactive projects that showcase their growing understanding of programming concepts. Some students are working on the school Nibblers, crafting intricate and imaginative creations, others are exploring their creativity and problem-solving skills in Minecraft, constructing and navigating the school's Minecraft server.

Grade 3/4

Our Grade 3/4 continue to expand their skills with Typing Club, Scratch, and the school Nibblers. They are using Scratch to create increasingly advanced projects, incorporating complex concepts and pushing their creativity. Simultaneously, they are honing their woodworking skills by building with the Nibblers, constructing intricate and innovative structures. Additionally, the majority of students have now had the opportunity to experience Kartoffl in Virtual Reality.

Grade 5/6

Our Grade 5/6 students have been learning event-based programming and the world of 3D printing. They have been delving into event-based programming concepts, understanding how actions and events trigger specific responses in their code. This allows them to create interactive and dynamic projects. In addition to coding, our students have also been introduced to Cura, 3D printing software, where they learn how to prepare their 3D designs for printing.
