What is IDEEA Lab?

IDEEA lab is a class that the Year 7 & 8's participate in weekly.  Rather than focusing on the mainstream classes IDEEA lab is about skills and learning that will be needed later in our life.

This is what some students said about IDEEA lab:

• “IDEEA lab let's you explore with your creativity and innovations”
• “ There is a lot of choice, you are guided by your teachers but the main topics are based on what you want to learn”
• “ It helps you to become more aware of global issues and how you can make a difference”
• “ This class goes for the whole day and is a really interesting class where we learn about global and Australian issues.  It's all about teaching us a different view on life and encouraging us to figure out how we can help out our community, or do our part on solving problems, or improving our effect on problems.”

Some of the things that we are doing in IDEEA lab at the moment are meditation, ethics and philosophy,  Tournament of Minds, and much more.
