What made you want to become a librarian?
I love reading, and putting things in order, as well as helping others. It's great when I can match the right book to the right person and hear how much they enjoyed a chosen book.
What are you jobs at the school?
- manage the Library and helping students and staff locate resources
- VASS administration which involves entering VCE results and data
- VET Media teacher on Wednesday afternoons
- editing the 'Ripple' end-of-year school magazine
- looking after the school archives
- and a few other 'bits and bobs' as well!
What is your favourite thing?
A special favourite 'thing' is a necklace given to me for mother's day.
What is your favourite colour?
Purple...of course!
What is your favourite animal?
Goldfish
What is your favourite drink?
Skinny cappuccino...extra hot!
Your favourite person?
All my Library monitors...both past and present!
How long have you been at Mount Eliza?
29 years
Have you ever worked overseas?
Yes, at the Durham District Land Registry in the northeast of England.
What is your favourite book?
It changes each time I read something new! At the moment I've just finished the YA novel "Mr Romanov's Garden in the Sky" by Robert Newton which I really enjoyed.
