Beginning Year 7

The Start of Year 7

report by Ruby Davies

You know in movies evolving around high school life and that there is always bullies, well that's kinda what I thought high school was like when I was younger.  It turns out, high school is quite different than I expected.  In primary school things were easy going and I was pretty used to being at the top of the food chain but now things have changed tremendously - I'm on the bottom now.  I have to start my journey to the top again with more hard work, perspiration and enthusiasm than I did in primary school.

When I first saw that we have so many classes I flipped, with happiness and surprise, and the fact that we were told all this stuff through an app which I distrusted a lot for 2 reasons.

  1. I don’t know how to use computers that well.
  2. I think “big picture” and I'm afraid that it might crash, or get hacked, or glitch suddenly (which is why I keep a hard copy in my blazer).

Before I keep rambling on about the bad stuff (which there isn't that much of) I'd like to add in a few good things.  In the locker bays (which is quite squishy) I got the best locker and I mean it’s the best because it's on the top. There is no one beneath me (because the door is busted) so I can just get my stuff and go to class no sweat.   I really enjoy the classes (even though there is a lot of them) I find them fun and I enjoy them a lot.

I don’t know what next semester is gonna be like but I know that it will be filled with hard work, perspiration and enthusiasm with lots of fun along the way.
