Calendar competition

The Cultural Diversity Calendar Competition is run by the NSW Department of Education for Kindergarten to Year 12 students across New South Wales every year.  The competition aims to promote and celebrate intercultural understanding, cultural and linguistic diversity, community harmony and social inclusion in NSW public schools and their communities.

Diwali

Diwali a festival of lights which spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance and hope over despair.  Staff members have been invited to celebrate on Thursday 26 October (coincidentally Butter Chicken Day) by wearing an Indian/Indian inspired outfit.

There will be celebrations at school, including Bollywood music and dancing for students and staff, as well as a morning tea with an assortment of Indian sweets and delicacies.
