Cecil Hills History students join the National History Challenge

The National History Challenge is an annual  research-based competition for students.

 

 It gives students a chance to be an historian, researching world history, examining Australia’s past, investigating their community or exploring their own roots.  It emphasises and rewards quality research, the use of community resources and effective presentation.  The 2017 theme was “Making a better world”

Students in Enrichment classes from Year 7 through to Year 10  were encouraged to develop projects on the topics being currently studied in their classes.  The best entries were forwarded to the NSW State competition.  All entrants received a certificate for their efforts.
