Congratulations to the following students for being recognised for outstanding efforts for this fortnight.

Lola-Monique Castro (B7) -BRADMAN Student of the Fortnight 

 

Bradman would like to recognise Lola-Monique Castro on her consistence display of our Cluster’s core values of Excellent, Integrity and Leadership not only at the College but within the wider community. Lola is done a terrific job in her Home Group contributing in pastoral care, particularity in regards to body image, stress management and gender equality. She has been an active participate in Bradman Cluster sports, enthusiastically participating in soccer. She is also an active member of community, she is part of the Spring Hills Stallions Volunteers and Safe swim ground the water, she is involved in the Colombian Church service and Maribyrnong Council as well as being part of a number of sporting clubs and teams.

Bradman would like to congratulate Lola on her consistence hard work and dedication! Well Done.

CHANG Students of the Fortnight

During the holidays, three Chang students were among a group of students who travelled to Timor Leste to work on our college service project. These students were Marielle Lopez, Daniella Lo Giudice and Mary Ngoma. We cannot speak highly enough about these wonderful, mature young women. This term Chang’s social justice focus is to fundraise for Timor Leste

Joshua Machuca (D3) DUNLOP  Student of the fortnight

Dunlop would like to commend Joshua Machuca this fortnight for his amazing work on the 2016 Talent Quest. Joshua has been involved in three Talent Quests now from both a technical production perspective and as a performer. This year Joshua was responsible for organising, setting up and managing the live streaming, working with and coordinating a team of Year 11 and 12 students as well as finding time to take to the stage and perform a sensational musical piece with Carla Callanan who lended her exceptional dancing skills to Joshua’s vocal talent to wow the judges and entertain our school community. Well done to Joshua on a wonderful performance, for your unwaivering commitment to the Arts and for being an important and talented member of our Cluster.

Michaela Cassar (M4) - MACKILLOP Student of the Fortnight

Michaela has shown since the beginning of Semester 2 that she is willing to work on areas that have been identified as an area for improvement. She always works diligently in class and is prepared to ask questions to constantly improve her work. Recently Michaela was able to take herself out of her comfort zone to work in a group to present a costume from recycled newspaper. Together with her fellow class mates she was able produce the winning design.

Brigid Pappaluca (T3) - TRUGANINI Student of the Fortnight

Brigid Pappaluca (T3) for her exceptional honesty in handing a wallet that she found into the office during last term.

Nikolina Visevic (W2) - WINTON Student of the Fortnight

Nikolina is commended for her ongoing commitment to sport. While maintaining a high level of commitment to her VCE studies, Nikolina has also been actively involved in cluster soccer and has played competitive soccer for ten years. She currently plays with Melbourne Knights and, in addition to weekly games, trains twice a week. Nikolina also assists in helping with the coaching of Under 11 boys at the St Alban's Saints Soccer Club. She assists at training twice a week and also attends weekly games. Well done, Nikolina!
