Design 380-Interview with 2nd Year Furniture Making Student 

Why did you choose Furniture Making as a subject to study?

Because it’s something I have always enjoyed inside and outside of school.

What is your favourite thing about the course?

Building things and being able to show my creative side and not be judged for it.

Would you recommend this course to others?

Yes of course as long as it’s something they will enjoy as a hobby or career path.

What do you hope to make after you finish the course?

Designing furniture for my own house would be great and I would love to re-design or renovate a house as the skills we learn hear can be used at home.

What do you want to do when you complete school?

Possibly carpentry or furniture making or hospitality.

I want to be a project manager or a foreman.
