BRADMAN Cluster News

To begin the College Feast Day each Cluster met on the green for our annual march around the school. The Bradman cluster was led by our Year 11 Cluster Leader Caitlyn Sanahon who carried the Bradman flag as well as Bradman's Year 12 Cluster Leader Megan Debono and Cluster Sports Leader Natalie Mikic who nominated fellow students to help carry 'the vines' made from felt leaves students made and decorated as a symbol of this year’s theme 'Branch Out'.
We regathered in the hall, where the mass commenced with a spotlight lighting up the centre piece. To keep the theme of this year, the frame around the centre piece was draped in grape vines and the alter sprung to life as Father O'Riley began to lead the ceremony. We blessed our new statue of St Mary McKillop as well as distributed badges and pens in the theme of branching out. To conclude the ceremony, students walked out as their vines were displayed proudly above their heads.
Students had rostered shifts with Bradman 1 selling hot chips, a favoured stall placing second overall. We had a range of stalls/activities that ranged from a guess that song station, 'shot from the six' where they had printouts of rapper Drake attached onto cups which were stacked on top of each other, Mario Kart, a hairspray stand and spider drinks.
To conclude the day, the College gathered into the hall once again, where we had our annual Talent Quest. It was an amazing show and really showcased the talent CRC Sydenham has. The talent didn’t end with the students, as even some teachers busted out their moves, creating an epic vibe to end the day.
