PE and Duke of Ed
As a leader of SCHS, what are your key focuses?
As the Director of Sport and Student Engagement my key focuses are:
-Sport Program
-House Program
-Student leadership
-Co-curricular program
-Extra-curricular program
-SEN events
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I am a triathlete so I train a lot and I also like outdoor activities like camping, surfing, snowboarding and fishing.
Why do you love working at SCHS?
I like the students enthusiasm and willingness to participate in a wide variety of things. There is a good breadth of opportunities at SCHS. The students are also appreciative of my work which makes me like coming to school.
Mr. Joel Moden - Head of Blackwood
How long have you been working at SCHS?
This is my 5th year.
What subjects do you teach?
Psychology and PE.
As a leader of SCHS, what are your key focuses?
Student Wellbeing and Leading Blackwood Students to Success.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Going to the MCG to watch the footy, catching a movie at the Sun Theatre in Yarraville and walking my dog Hurley.
Why do you love working at SCHS?
I love the supportive community and competitive House System.

5 and a half years.
What subjects do you teach?
Biology and Science (and Co-curricular - craft).
As a leader of SCHS, what are your key focuses?
Head of House - Cottrell; focusing on the well-being and engagement of students in the wider school community.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Craft, reading, attending my kids sport (tennis, netball, cricket and football)
Why do you love working at SCHS?
The kids are great and the staff are great. I love the challenges encountered and seeing the kids succeed.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Riding my bike and spending time with my family

Watching students grow in their leadership positions.
Ms. Anna Hamilton - Acting Head of Rothwell
How long have you been working at SCHS?
6 years.
What subjects do you teach?
Chemistry and Science.
As a leader of SCHS, what are your key focuses?
The mental wellbeing and engagement of our students and staff.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Running, reading, surfing and hanging out with my dog.
Why do you love working at SCHS?
The students: Genuine, hard working, funny- they are what make me look forward to coming to work everyday!
