The Nature of Autumn......

Sunshine and golden light has encouraged our creative learning outdoors. Foundation and Grade 1 students continued exploring making birds from clay, but this time, shaping them into 3D forms. We had a wonderful collection of gum leaves, seedpods, bark, seeds, native flowers and sticks to choose from to add to our creations (thank you Mrs. Brookes!)

Fluffy Protea stamens became wing and tail feathers, bark was perfectly beak-like and gum nuts were great for beady eyes. We are so proud of our creations!
