Mr Irwin's Message

Mr. Irwin's Message

Hi families and welcome to this week’s newsletter.

Foundation EOI for 2022

I’ll jump straight into the Ask Mr Irwin for this week. I’ve received a few questions regarding enrolling for foundation in 2022.

It’s now time to get in touch regarding any 2022 Foundation enrolments from your family. Being prepared early with confirmed numbers for 2022 ensures planning for the year is smooth and organised.

We would appreciate that if you do have a child you intend to send in foundation next year that you make this known via emailing the school email address or contacting the office. This will add you to our mailing list for when we advertise information sessions for our 2022 transition program later in the year. This usually kicks off in August with a Parent Information Evening.

Families may well be aware that we are currently over our enrolment capacity. Even with our new building being installed we will remain very close to our cap and maybe even exceed this by the beginning of 2022. This means that we can only accept enrolments from within our designated neighbourhood area or siblings of students currently attending the school. If you have friends in the community or at the kinder asking about enrolling for 2022, you may like to direct them to the find my school website. Families can put in their address and discover their closest neighbourhood school.

Where's Mr Irwin?

Over the next few weeks I have some exciting events to attend. Firstly, I am looking forward to going to 5\6 camp at Phillip Island next week. This is an adventure camp students attend and one of the highlights no doubt will be the Penguin Parade in the evening.

The following week I will be attending the Principal Conference in Melbourne. It is always refreshing to hear from inspiring schools and speakers and return to school with ideas to make Teesdale even better.

In my absence over this time Mr Lindsay will be available if you require any additional support.

Bye for now!
