KINDERS VISIT TO THE CHURCH TODAY

Today Kinder had a special visit to the Church to see all the things we've been learning about- Father Gleeson told us the meaning of these objects and then we all lit a candle and sat quietly, thinking about our families.

Thank you to Father Gleeson, we loved it and hope to come back soon!!

MHF BEANIES

Today Mark Hughes and his wife Kirralee came to visit us at St Joseph's. He was here to donate MHF beanies to every child in Glen Innes.  This incredible initiative has been made possible by Mr Charlie Sutton, a passionate campaigner for the Mark Hughes Foundation. Sadly Mr Sutton passed away a few week's ago. We thank his daughters for being at the school today to assist in handing out the beanies to our students.

The Mark Hughes Foundation (MHF) is a charity formed in Newcastle by Mark and Kirralee Hughes following Mark’s diagnosis with Brain Cancer in 2013. The Mark Hughes Foundation’s mission is to raise much needed funds for research, to create awareness and support brain cancer patients and their families.

Could you please ensure you put your child's name on their beanie.

Thank you to Troy Arandale and the Glen Innes Sports Council for all the time and effort they put in to getting this initiative up and running and thanks to Mark and Kirralee for taking the effort to visit our school.

If you would like to purchase a beanie for yourself please visit the Mark Hughes Foundation website for instructions or visit https://markhughesfoundation.com.au/
