Semester One I.C.E Showcase!

It's nearly the end of our first semester's Investigate, Create, Express program! We are inviting our parents and community to attend the Showcase on Friday the 4th of June.

We will have three live performances from our Dance, Vocal Ensemble and Drama Groups at assembly on Friday morning around 9:20am. To view the other groups amazing efforts, please sign in through the office and walk through the displays, set up throughout the Senior buildings between 2:45- 3:15pm.

Senior Parents - We need you!

We are looking for volunteers from our school community to run enjoyable and interesting activity groups for our Investigate, Create and Express (I.C.E) Program this year. You would take a group of no more than eight students from Year 3 to 6 for 8 weeks. Each session runs Friday afternoons from 2:30 to 3:25pm. Activities can be anything that enables our students to be creative, develop a new skill, or contribute to our school culture or environment. Past activities have included gardening, conservation, science experiments, performance, dance, and a wide variety of artistic outlets.

The rotations will begin on August 13th, with sessions running on the following Fridays:

August 20th, 27th

September 3rd, 10th

October 15th, 22nd, 29th

November 5th Showcase!

The program will culminate in a showcase, presenting all the groups hard work over the semester, including static displays and performances, on the 5th of November.

All volunteers will be required to sign in at the office and have a current Working with Children Check and this can be acquired without charge at ww.workingwithchildren.vic.gov.au and list MPRPS as the location for volunteering.

If you are able to assist in running an activity or would like to help others, please contact the office by 21/6/21.

Feel free to contact us at school if you have any questions or concerns before committing.
