Careers Update
Anna Langley
The Box Hill High School Careers team has expanded!
Anna Langley has moved from the role of Year 12 Coordinator to the role of Careers and Pathways Coordinator. Fiona Fuller has moved from the role of the Junior School Assistant to the Careers and Pathways Assistant Coordinator and Janine Frank continues in her current role as the VET and Head Start Coordinator. Both Fiona and Janine are undertaking the Certificate IV in Career Development through the CEAV Institute. They are excited to be broadening the study and career support on offer to BHHS students by strengthening existing strategies and implementing new initiatives in 2022.
Morrisby Online Profiling for Year 9
In week 9, Year 9 students completed the Morrisby Online Profiling assessment as part of the My Career Insights DET program. This program offers students lifetime Morrisby access to explore and revise study and career options.
Morrisby helps students to determine their strengths, interests and aspirations. It supports them to make informed subject choices and to create a career action plan as they move into the senior school. After completing the assessment, students receive a personalised report to discuss with a qualified Morrisby Consultant in a 30 minute interview in October. We strongly encourage parents/carers to participate in these interviews so you can understand and discuss the results together.
