It has been a very busy and exciting term for Interschool Sport, which has seen the high level of participation for all students continue, well done everyone! We also have some fantastic results to celebrate with the following teams all finishing in first place at the Division level and will now proceed to the Eastern Metropolitan Regional stage next term.

Congratulations not only to the teams who have progressed, but to all teams who have represented the school so far in 2021. I encourage everyone to be involved with our sporting program by keeping a look out on Teams for future sign up forms.
On the final day of Term One, our school headed down to Black's Walk for the annual Box Hill HS Cross Country & Walk for Wellbeing. It was great to see so many students out enjoying their time in the parklands on a beautiful sunny afternoon, what a great way to end the term! Congratulations to Yellow House, you are the 2021 Cross Country Champions!

We made the most of a sunny autumn day with our annual Whole School Athletics Carnival. It was great to see so many students getting involved in the events; it was a fantastic day with a great display of house spirit and athletic competition. Blue House took home the House Cup with total of 915 points, ahead of Red House in second with 866, Yellow House in third with 793 and Green House in fourth with 604.

Blake Crichton of Year 11 and Alyssa Rodpoulos of Year 10 both proudly represented themselves and our school at the 2021 SSV State Swimming Championship.

48 BHHS students attended District Cross Country at Ruffey Lake Park on Friday April 30th. We had fantastic weather and some excellent results across the board. Over half of our team qualified for the Eastern Metropolitan Regional event, which will place early in Term 3, congratulations to you all!
