School Council President
Thank you Meredith
Tuesday afternoon was a fitting tribute to Meredith for her contributions to ACPS over the last 18 months. It was great to hear from the students as to what they loved about Mrs Thornton and to see them present her with multiple YAGA awards.
On behalf of the School Council and school community, I would like to say thank you to Meredith. There is so much work that goes on behind the scenes to keep the school running and we really do appreciate what she has done for us.

Welcome to Daniel
Daniel Webber, our new substantive principal, will be starting in the role on April 24 (first day of term 2). He comes to us from Bunyip Primary School, a similar sized school to ours.
Daniel had a tour of the school on Monday and visited the classrooms to meet the students and teachers.
I'm sure he will be out and about meeting everyone from the start of term 2 so please feel free to say hello and introduce yourself when you see him around the school.
Hot Cross Bun Day
Our Hot Cross Bun day today was a great success, both with the buns we served from the canteen as well as the take-home packs that were handed out after the final assembly.
We partnered with Biddick's Bakery to get in to the Easter spirit and help our school fundraising efforts to replace our playground with amazing new equipment for the kids.
It's great to help support local businesses who help support local organisations like our school.
