CONFIRMATION

Confirmation will take place for Year 6 students in June of this year. The following are the dates of each milestone to participate in the Sacrament of Confirmation:

Thursday 4 May - Parent Information night, 6pm at St Joseph's Church, Gunnedah.

Saturday 13 May - Rite of Enrolment, 4pm at Sacred Heart Church, Boggabri.

Tuesday 30 May - Rite of Reconciliation, 5:30pm at St Joseph's Church, Gunnedah.

Friday  2 June - Retreat Day, St Xaviers School, Gunnedah (time TBC).

Sunday 4 June - Confirmation, 9am at St Joseph's Church, Gunnedah.

Mrs Baird will work with our Confirmation candidates at school to prepare them to participate in this Sacrament.

SCHOOL AND PARISH MASS

We will be hosting our first school/Parish Mass for the term, this Wednesday at 12:30pm at Sacred Heart Church - all are welcome to attend. We will particularly be holding Fr Abmar in our prayers as he has needed to return to the Philippines following the passing away of a colleague, as well as our three Confirmation candidates who are preparing to take part in this important sacrament.

PROJECT COMPASSION

Thank you to our students and families for their contribution to Project Compassion this year. As a school we raised $295.00 which has been forwarded to Caritas.
