Year 10 News

Welcome back to Term 2! 

We hope that everyone body had a relaxing school holidays and ready for a busy term! It’s a term full of possibilities and opportunities, and it’s important to take full advantage of them.This term, there are many important dates coming up. We have a number of Year 10 Camp meetings that will be running this term. Camp meetings are compulsory as there is lots of important information distributed and documentation that needs to be filled out, to ensure that planning runs smoothly. Students need to make sure that they are attending Form Group, to listen to these important notices. If students are not going on a camp, they are encouraged to organise Work Experience for that week. Please contact us or Genni Smith, our work experience co-ordinators for support with this.

Fri 9 June – Curriculum Day 

Mon 12 June – Royal Birthday long weekend Wed 14 June – Year 10 Study Day 

Fri 23 June – Last day of Term 2

Attendance

If your student is going to be absent, please make sure that we are notified and the absence is recorded. You can use the absence hotline number 5381 7200 or the SkoolBag app. Overall, Term 2 is a busy and exciting time for everyone. While it’s important to keep up the hard work and stay organized, it’s also important to remember to enjoy the process, celebrate the success and demonstrate our Horsham College Values.
