Parkside Netball–Net  Set Go Program

Net Set Go is a great way for children aged 5 – 10 to have fun with their friends, keep active and learn the basic skills of netball in a safe and social environment. Each week participants will take part in skill-based activities, minor games and modified matches.

  • When: Friday 5 May – Friday 16 June (7 sessions)
  • Time: 3:45 – 4:30pm
  • Where: Fairfield Primary School

Northcote Swim Club–Looking for New Members

Northcote Swim Club is a community based competitive swimming club with a long history at the Northcote Aquatic and Recreation Centre (NARC).  The club provides coaching and training programs for swimmers of all ambitions and abilities.

The Darebin Basketball Association is excited to offer basketball pathways and experiences for players of all ages and skill levels.

Interested in Hosting an International Student?

Northcote High School is seeking homestays from our local community to help care for new international student arrivals (Year 10 –11 age group) in July 2023. The international students are mainly from Asian countries, such as China, Vietnam, Korea, Japan and Thailand and they will continue to complete their VCE studies. 

 

Hosting International Students can bring a rich cross cultural experience and opportunity for families. If you have a spare room and are willing to take care of a young international student please contact the International Student Office (9488 2334; email.) Parenting Sessions - Managing Your Child’s Anxiety

Fear-Less Triple P is holding a program for parents of children (aged from 6 to 14 years) that are concerned about their child’s anxiety that would like to learn strategies they can put in place to support the wellbeing of their child and the family.

Social Justice Easter Chocolate Campaign 

Did you know that much of the chocolate sold in Australia is made using cocoa beans picked by children, many of whom have been enslaved or forced to work in exploitative conditions? The Easter campaign, by ACRATH, promotes purchasing Easter Chocolate that does not have slavery within the supply chain and encourages people to look for two logos: Fairtrade and Rainforest Alliance logos on chocolate wrappers. This social justice campaign also features two FPS students.
