Literacy 

We have spent the term reading the text “Once.” This novel has really dug deep with thought provoking, adult-like discussions amongst the students. If your child is keen on finishing this  series of books; other books following the series include; Then, Soon, and After. 

Numeracy

The year 5/6 children have spent considerable time working on Angles and investigating their properties. They identified and investigated types of angles located within our school. The students had a fabulous time and made some very interesting comments to celebrate their learning.

“Now I get angles. This is just the best.”

“Can we go outside and find more angles?”

Inquiry
