Grandparents Day

Adrina - Grandparents are an important part of our lives and are very loving which is why we celebrate Grandparents Day. Personally, my grandparents are both overseas and I haven’t seen them in person since I was 3. My Grandparents are important to me because they are wonderful, joyful and funny people that I love. Grandparents and Special Person’s day is held on the 19th of May and any Grandparents or Special People are welcome. We hope to see you there.

Isaac - This Friday we have a very special event Grandparent’s Day I love this day because I love spending time with them my two pairs of Nonni. I enjoy sleeping over with them and love when they make me food. When I see their car, I get so excited because I know they are picking me up. They give me lots of snacks after school but I know that my parents won’t let me eat them. They always comfort me when I’m feeling sick and sad. My Nonna T makes me lemon and honey when I go to their house. My Nonna Nancy bakes the best cookies on Earth. My Grandparents are so important to me because they go above and beyond for me. I love doing things for my Grandparents such as making my Nonno coffee and helping them around the house. I am excited to see my Grandparents present at show and tell and learn from the other grandparents’ experiences.

Jude - This Friday the 19th of May it is Grandparents day.  For me, this is a very special day.  It reminds me of my Jedo [grandpa].  He was the best. Every time I went to his house I got multiple chocolates.  Just like me, he loves footy! He went for the Collingwood Magpies and whenever they were playing he would yell so loud.  My Jedo was so special to my family and I because always so positive and he was a bit of a comedian.  I have so many memories with my Jedo and I am so happy to have spent my life with him.
