Curriculum

Welcome back for an exciting Term 3!

We hope you have had a relaxing term holiday and are excited for new challenges in Term 3!

In Mathematics sessions last term, we completed variety of activities where we had to apply skills learned throughout the term. A highlight was guiding the OZOBOTS around a map of a shopping centre. We made connections to mapping, coding, and money together. This term in Mathematics we look forward to challenging ourselves with Multiplication & Division, Mass & Capacity, Data and Fractions.

In Writing, students spent time reflecting on what they have achieved in Semester One. Together we identified what we are proud of and what we want to work on throughout Semester Two. The students also did an fantastic job reflecting on their accomplishments and setting goals for Term 3. We look forward to sharing these with you in our 3 Way Conferences next week.

We were excited to have a special visitor last term, Amanda Crossland, come to our classes to teach us about AUSLAN. We even managed to have a sign off to Hakunamatta between our class pairs. Very much appreciated!

Throughout Guided Inquiry this term we will be investigating and celebrating different cultures.
