Parents and Friends News
Welcome to Term 3! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday break. Term 3 is set to be a busy one so make sure you keep up to date with all events via the newsletter calendar.
Our 2019 Movie Night was a great success. Thank you to everyone who attended. We raised $360 for our school and kindergarten, but most importantly everyone who attended enjoyed a fun evening out! Thank you also to the volunteers who helped with check-in and also ensured everyone found a seat – Megan, Karyn, Sarah, Liz, Dayna & Fran, you are amazing thank you!
The Woolworths Earn and Learn promotion has now ended. Thank you to everyone who collected stickers for our school and special thanks to those who helped to compile and count the stickers.
Our School and Kindergarten Disco is coming up on Friday August 2nd. Please see the calendar in this newsletter for timing. The themes for this year will be ‘Rainbow’ for Kindergarten & Junior School. And for Senior School there will be no theme, so senior students are welcome to dress up however they choose.
Our Pleasant Bazaar colouring page competition will be drawn at assembly this Friday July 19th. To enter the prize draw simply return the coloured page including the students name and class - colouring pages can be returned via orange folders or dropped off at the office. First prize is a Pleasant Bazaar ride wristband valued at $35 which entitles the wearer to unlimited rides for the duration of the event! We will have rides suitable for all ages, so both kindergarten and school students are encouraged to enter the prize draw. All prizes will be drawn at random.
Keep an eye out for our Pleasant Bazaar news in this week’s newsletter!

Bazaar News
Welcome to Term 3! Our Pleasant Bazaar Committee has been hard at work over the holidays planning and fine tuning all the details that go into such a wonderful large scale event. We are pleased to bring you an update on what has been happening.
Our Pleasant Bazaar colouring page prize will be drawn at assembly this Friday July 19th. If your child/children would like to enter the draw please ensure they have returned their colouring page by Thursday afternoon (making sure to include name and class clearly noted). The prizes will be drawn at assembly so no late entries can be accepted. Colouring pages can be returned to the office directly or via orange folders. First prize is an unlimited ride wristband valued at $35. All prizes will be drawn at random.
Ride wristbands will be released for pre-sale this Saturday July 20th. We will announce the booking website link via social media after the colouring page prize draw has taken place. Unlimited ride wristbands are $35 pre-sale, or $40 on the day of the Pleasant Bazaar. We have rides suitable for all ages, so kindergarten and school children will be catered for with young children allowed an accompanying adult. Family combo packages are also available, so make sure you check out the booking link later this week.
Jess and Louise have secured a storage container for all things Pleasant Bazaar. Those who drop off and pick up on the junior playground will notice this container discretely positioned in the breezeway. We will use this container to store all donations and equipment required for the day of the Pleasant Bazaar.
We are collecting donations of pre-loved goods for our MASSIVE Trash and Treasure stall. We are seeking household items, small pieces of furniture, books, toys, bikes, anything that is in good, clean, working condition. If you are unsure, please message us with a photo and we will let you know if we can accept it. We will be collecting once a month until Bazaar so stay tuned on social media for drop off dates. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept electrical goods, due to test and tag laws.
Our market stall bookings are filling fast, if you know anyone who would be interested in holding a stall please make sure they get in touch via pleasantbazaar.market@gmail.com
Do you know a fabulous entertainer? Or are you in a garage band? We’d love to get some great entertainment acts lined up for the day of the Pleasant Bazaar. Please get in contact if you have any ideas or contacts to fill our line-up for the day. pleasantbazaar@gmail.com
