Term 4

Term 4 is well and truly underway and there is plenty of great learning happening around our school.  Earlier this Term we celebrated Christ Our Holy Redeemer's Feast Day by having mass as a school community. Our theme was ‘Find Your Voice and Take Action’. We were asked to create prisms and reflect on ways we can act justly, love mercy and walk humbly with God.

Also this term our Year 3/4 level organised a fundraiser called Socktober to support Catholic Mission, which helps communities who face poverty. We all wore our craziest socks and brought in a gold coin donation to support this fundraiser.

A highlight of this term for the 5/6's has been our Crack It Incursion. On this day we worked on our team building skills while completing various tasks to gain clues and open a mystery box.

The Year fours had their Kanga Cricket competition at Warrawee Park. The participants competed against other schools in a modified version of cricket. They all had a great time, met new people and made new friends.

This term the 3/4s were lucky enough to go to Salesian College to participate in a few different activities.  These activities were a Science lesson, a Sport game and a Media Arts activity. They all came back with smiles on their faces and some were extremely happy to go on this little excursion to a school where some students may be attending in the years to come.

In the next fortnight some of the 5/6 girls are fortunate enough to participate in the division Kanga Cricket. We hope they have fun on this very special and enjoyable day.

Soon we will welcome our 2020 Preps into our school community when they come for their orientation sessions .  We’re sure everyone will make them feel welcome.

Even though there are only four and a half weeks left for the year, we are all still working to the best of our ability.

Enjoy your day!
