Caritas - Project Compassion
During Lent, we try to think of others, especially those less fortunate. Project Compassion is a wonderful program run by Caritas Australia, to raise funds for communities in need. We continue to encourage students and families to make any donation they can throughout Lent. At the end of Term 1, we ask that Project Compassion boxes are sent in to school so we can forward the money to CARITAS.
St. Patrick's Day
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came dressed in green last Tuesday, St. Patrick’s Day. Everyone looked fabulous!! We just wanted to also say THANK YOU for your kind and very generous gold coin donations. As a school we have raised $597.60 which will be sent to CARITAS to support them in the very important work they do.
St. Joseph’s Day
Today children participated in a class Liturgy to remember St. Joseph, the husband of Mary and foster father of Jesus. Joseph was a compassionate, caring man. He protected and cared for Mary and Jesus. Joseph respected God. He followed God's commands, by loving and respecting Mary and helping Mary to raise Jesus. St. Joseph has two feast days; today, 19th March and 1st May. He is also known as St. Joseph the Worker.
First Confession
As per instruction from our Parish Priest, Fr Paul Aguilar, in line with the recommendations from the State and Federal Governments, related agencies and the Catholic Schools Office in Armidale, we wish to advise families that we are postponing the Sacrament of First Confession that was to be held on Wednesday 25th March. We will also be postponing the meeting we had planned on Friday 20th March where the candidates were travelling to Mary Help of Christians Church to meet with Dean Paul Manvell.
We apologise, however feel it necessary to treat all advice seriously and put the health of our students, clergy and staff first.

Real Talk
The Real Talk Parent Information Evening and student visit that was to be held on Wednesday 1st April has been postponed.
Grade and Family Masses
School Grade and Family Masses will be cancelled until further notice. Parish Masses will continue as normal.
