Bowling with Babies program is here in Mildura.

Merbein Marlins Swimming Club

Training starts Thursday 24th October at

Mildura Waves from 4.30-6pm.  Continued at the Merbein Swimming pool, Tuesdays & Thursdays from the 7th November 2019.  New & Existing members welcome.  New members 'Come and Try' 24th & 31st October.  Registrations due 5th November 2019.

Prerequisites: Must be able to swim with moderate ability and be interested in stroke development and competitive swimming.

Merbein Bush Playgroup

Merbein South Cricket Club Woolworths Cricket Blast Program begins 22nd October 4.30-5.30pm.  For more information phone Aaron Walder on 0408315746.

The Recently formed committee of the Merbein South Hall and Park are holding a fundraiser on November 10th from 9am-2pm, in order to help support a possible Council grant for air conditioning for the hall.  They would like to extend an invitation for you to have your own produce stall at a cost of $10 per stall.  If this is not possible the Hall Committee would be very grateful if you were able to donate goods for a combined produce stall.  Should you have any queries, please contact Cheryl Storer on phone 50256472 or mobile 0490473897.

This year Sunraysia Dance Academy will again be donating to Sunraysia Cancer Resources from ticket sales.

This year the walk will be opened by Fadak Alfayadh.  Fadak is a Melbourne-based community lawyer who works with people who are unable to afford legal representation including women experiencing family violence.  She is a writer and advocate, who has spoken across the country and internationally on topics including gender equality, refugees and asylum seekers, migrants and immigration, diversity, identity and belonging.  You can find out more about Fadak at www.fadakalfayadh.com  

All Abilities Sport Activities Being Conducted In Mildura from  October – December 2019

Mildura Workers Bowls Club

On Tuesday evenings Mildura Workers Bowls Club, coordinate an All Abilities Lawn Bowls Program. This will commence on the 8th October to 3rd December 2019, 6-7pm. This is a free program for everyone to come along and enjoy and learn the basics of lawn bowls. All equipment is supplied by the club.

Mildura Lawn Tennis Club

Mildura Lawn Tennis Club will be conducting a social tennis program for people with disabilities on Wednesday evenings from 6-7pm.  Everyone is welcome to come and join the program which will recommence on the 9th October until 4th December 2018. If you are not a member of Mildura Lawn Tennis Club, it will be $6 to play each week. For Club members it is a free program.

We play social tennis matches and some minor coaching, to help improve skills, coordination and direction. Session will be delivered by Club professional Bill Madaferri, from Mildura Lawn Tennis Club.
