'Our approach to mindfulness teaches students to pay attention to what’s happening both around and within themselves, and to notice thoughts, feelings, and sensations as they arise. We teach students how not be judgemental of the thoughts and feelings that they experience, but to be aware of what’s going on and how this makes them feeling.'

What a Term!

This term has been unique in so many ways.

Personally I have enjoyed being home with my son and getting to know him better as a learner, something that I feel has been so precious.

As a teacher I have enjoyed creating lessons where I can see our children singing and having fun at home. All levels have been so busy with learning their special songs of hope and connectedness. I so look forward to the day that we can all come together and sing these songs. I have also enjoyed posting weekly mindfulness & meditation videos for our community, keeping the mindfulness alive for our students has been a real honour for me and I hope everyone has had a chance to check in.
