Remote Learning Information

New Timetable Structure - started on 23 April

We have made some adjustments to the student timetables to reflect the guidelines from the Department of Education and Training during this remote learning time.

The guidelines state:Years 7 to 10, schools will provide learning programs allocated as follows per day:

1.     Literacy: 45-60 minutes

2.     Numeracy: 30-45 minutes

3.     Physical activities: 30 minutes

4.     Additional curriculum areas: 90 minutes (Food/DesignTech/Art/Digital Tech/Spanish/Electives)

Please see the graphic below of the breakdown of the timetable on any given day. The structure of 6 sessions a day remains the same with home group, morning tea and lunch break. For most classes there will be no more double sessions. You will notice after lunch there is a Fitness/Physical Activity class on everyday followed by Session 6 which is self-directed learning. Students may catch up on work; email questions to teachers/education support staff, small group video conference with a teacher or try practical activities that have been set.

The students will all have the same teachers and the timetable will be on Compass on Thursday morning. It will still be a two week timetable.
