Introducing our new Marketing & Communications Coordinator- Rohan Redfern

As a graduate of Whitefriars College in 2012, I went on to pursue a career in design at Swinburne University. Majoring in Digital Media Design, I was exposed to all facets of design – animation, film, photography, graphics and more. I deferred from this course in 2015 to try my hand at cooking, opting to complete a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery at Box Hill TAFE. I then returned to Swinburne to complete my Bachelor of Design, which then lead me to my first graduate position as a Graphic Designer for The Network Group in 2018. From there I transitioned into a Marketing Team role at PLE Computers in 2019, where I was tasked to primarily create engaging video and photo content for social media platforms and digital advertising amongst my other marketing responsibilities.

Outside of my day job, I occasionally take on freelance photography and video projects for friends and family, including my first wedding photography gig very recently. I’m also a very active person. I enjoy bouldering (a form of rock climbing) and hiking, however, I’m no stranger to the finer things in life, particularly a bag of Red Rock Deli Sweet Chilli chips.
