Musical Notes

The Instrumental Music Staff would like to thank you for your ongoing support during 2022.  It has been a big year with the return to live performances and AMEB examinations.

We are excited to announce that the Mazenod/Avila musical for 2023 will be Freaky Friday.  Based on the novel by Mary Rogers and three hit Disney films, Freaky Friday is a delightful family musical where an overworked mother and her teenage daughter magically swap bodies one day before Mum's big wedding.

We trust all students and families enjoy this break and look forward to seeing everyone in 2023.

Important Dates

The Music Department will close at noon on Friday 9th December, 2022 and will re-open on Wednesday 25th January, 2023.

Instrumental Music lessons will commence on Wednesday 1st February, with ensembles commencing Monday 6th February.

Timetables

2023 timetables will be available on MazCom at the start of Term 1.  It is imperative that students get in the habit of checking timetables on a regular basis as changes often occur.
