Learning @ Brigidine

“Learning is not attained by chance. It must be sought for with ardour and attended with diligence.”  Abigail Adams

Learning and Innovation

“The more that you read, the more things you will know.

The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.”

Dr Seuss

It is hard to believe that we are at the end of another academic year, however 2022 has been a year of significant success that has come from the pursuit of rigour and the resilience to achieve one’s very best. Dr Seuss’s observation that “the more you learn the more places you will go” aptly captures our year of learning.

As the year draws to a close we again celebrate the Class of 2022 on their outstanding HSC results. We hope that your pursuit of rigour and your resilience throughout your Stage 6 journey is an inspiration to the cohorts that follow.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the dedicated Head of Departments and teachers for their tireless efforts to improve the quality of teaching and learning in their KLAs and for their approach to making the learning experiences engaging for our students. The outstanding results that our students have achieved over the course of the year do not happen by accident. They are a culmination of dedication and commitment from our students and their teachers to ensure that each student is growing and progressing.

We would also like to thank the staff, students and families for their sustained efforts in ensuring they made the most of the learning opportunities provided this year.  2022 has continued to build a community of resilient, capable and responsible lifelong learners.

Academic Awards

As the 2022 Academic Year drew to a close, we had the opportunity to acknowledge students who achieved at an exceptional level academically and those who have demonstrated consistent determination and resolve in their studies.

I would like to take this opportunity to again congratulate our award recipients for Semester Two. Your tenacity and dedication to learning is extraordinary. The 2022 academic awards and recipients are outlined below.
