Kwong Lee Dow recipient

Congratulations Darcy!

The Kwong Lee Dow Young Scholars program is open to students from all Victorian and select interstate border schools, offering access to exclusive University events and academic enrichments activities for two years. It gives students the chance to get a taste of student life first-hand, as well as opportunities to build strong peer networks that will support them throughout their final years of secondary school and during the transition to university. Since launching in 2007, the Kwong Lee Dow Young Scholars Program has attracted over 9000 students from more than 500 participating schools.

Selection occurs while you’re in Year 10 on the basis of your school’s endorsement and your academic performance, community contribution and leadership skills. When you finish your secondary studies, you could also be offered a guaranteed place in an undergraduate degree, financial assistance to move to Melbourne, and an overseas scholarship during your studies.

This year's recipient of the Kwong Lee Dow Young Scholars program is Darcy Cook. Congratulations, Darcy!
