Key Dates 2023 

The following dates have been approved by School Council as student free days for 2023:

Term 1

Friday the 27th of January

Monday 30th of January 

(All students will return to school on Tuesday the 31st of January, 2023) 

Term 2 

Thursday 3rd of May 

Wednesday 15th of June 

Term 3

Tuesday 25th of July 

Friday the 1st of September

These dates include both Curriculum Days and Professional Practice Days for teachers. 

All students will return to school on Tuesday the 31st of January, 2023. 

Parent / Teacher Interviews 2023

In 2023, we will be trialling a new approach to our Parent Teacher Interviews to encourage more parents and families to come and meet with us in a face-to-face format. Rather than holding these interviews at the end of the term / mid semester, we would like to trial having them early I the term to use them to set goals and discuss helpful strategies to support students with families. At Heathmont College we strongly believe that when we work in partnership together, we are more able to work in a way that supports all young people to succeed. 

To this end, we will be holding our first round of face to face parent / teacher / student conference in week 3 of term on Tuesday the 14th of February (yes, it is Valentine’s Day!). We will be sending out more details regarding the times available and the process for bookings in the new year but we urge you to please keep this date in the calendar as we would really love to see as many families attend as possible.
