Student Leadership

This year our school captains have valiantly represented Heathmont College and will continue to leave their legacy here with us for years to come.

On behalf of Heathmont College, we would like to thank Lauren Hassing, Jack McCarron, Emma Powell and Stephine Gorringe- Smith for their hard work and dedication to our community this year. 

During our Awards ceremony held on the 12th of December, our proud captains of 2022 had the pleasure of announcing next year’s college captains along with our vice captains and prefects in a traditional handing over of the school blazer. 

Huge congratulations to Molly Rist and Lachlan Clarke who are Heathmont College’s School Captains for 2023. College captains work closely with both staff and students to create student voice and agency to better our community.

Congratulations to our Vice College captains for 2023 Marlon Arndt, Claire Johnson and Jessica Leb who have been assigned one of our school values which are the pillars to lift up our school and use them when creating new ideas for our students to flourish. 

Lastly a huge congratulations to Charlie Knutsen, Jascha Kahrau and Christina Juma for taking up a new role here at Heathmont College as our school prefects. The prefects will be a supporting role for areas of our school such as performing art, design/advertising and wellbeing. 

All these student show incredible leadership skills in our interview and are sure to excel in bettering our school in 2023.
