Year 8 Excursion

On Monday the 5 December, Year 8 set off on an adventurous excursion to Coffs Harbour. On the way down, we stopped at the informative trout fishery where we learnt the feeding and breeding processes of many different fish species. Once we hit the road again, we soon arrived at the marvellous scenery of the Dorrigo Skybridge and National Park. After having lunch, we travelled down to the beautiful beaches of Sawtell, where we caught some waves. After all of us had a go, we checked into our accommodation for the night.

We enjoyed the great facilities that the park offered, such as play equipment, basketball court, pool, jumping pillow, beach within walking distance, mini golf, and lovely campgrounds. After leaving, we endured the Coffs Harbour weather at the Butterfly House and enjoyed the entertaining dinosaur show. We left to have a nice lunch at Park Beach Plaza. The bus trip home was a memorable experience. Overall, we had a great time and would like to thank Mr Miller and Miss Tilse for accompanying us on our excursion.
