Special Message from the Deputy Principal

Today we sincerely thank and congratulate Mr John Couani on a truly remarkable 12 years of outstanding leadership as Principal of St Pius X College.

The College has an excellent reputation as a leading faith-based community educational institution due to the hard work and dedication of Mr Couani.

Mr Couani is a first-class educator who encourages students to excel in their holistic development through his personal care, concern and compassion for every student. 

Mr Couani's leadership is always one of humility, as he consults, collaborates and is always respectful of the view of others.

Though his everyday example he has created an inclusive family community living out the gospel values, in ensuring a liberating education that espouses true justice and solidarity for all.

Mr Couani achieves all of this and maintains a genuine sense of fun and enjoyment.  His care for each individual student, parent and staff member is incredible.  His sense of fairness, concern and general care is exceptional.  He is always available to deal with all incidents across the whole community with calmness and assurance to achieve the best outcome for all.

He leaves an outstanding legacy for St Pius X College, Chatswood to continue to advance into the future.
