Thank You to all our helpers, the P&F and Pius Staff Members
We had a big week last week with over a thousand sausages needing to be cooked by our parent committee for Founder's Day, lead by our wonderful Year 11 Parents which was followed that evening for Farewell Drinks Mr Couani. The P&F can’t make these occasions the success they are without all our fabulous helpers. Thank you all so much, not just for last week but for all the events we have held in 2022 and all the help you have provided. It is always very much appreciated.
I would like to also thank the amazing P&F Executive Committee. As always you the best people to work with and without you, these events wouldn’t happen at all! So thank you to these wonderful people (listed below), and to the VERY fabulous Braelen Zwart, who after 10 years on the P&F has her last son leaving St Pius X in Year 12 this year. Braelen you are one of a kind, so many events would not have been at all possible without you, you will be so missed.

To all the staff members of St Pius X College – THANK YOU! The P&F relies on you for so much help and assistance and you all do so with humour, grace and patience. To you all, thank you.
And so, while the Christmas season has just begun, as this is the last newsletter of the year, I would like to take this opportunity to extend Christmas wishes to all our St Pius X families. Christmas is a time of celebrating with friends and colleagues, a time of reflection of a year past. It is such beautiful a time for family, a time for the excitement of gift-giving and gift-receiving. We hope that you all enjoy this coming season and its wonder and extend the blessings of Christmas to each member of our school community.
Thank you all for being part of our community this year and attending the events we were able to hold. To those who are leaving us, you will be missed, and to those who are joining us, welcome. The St Pius X Community is one of the best – so get ready for some fun.

P&F Expression of Interest
The School P&F is a very important group that addresses a broad range of issues. You can join the P&F as a great way to involve yourself in the community, to safeguard the best interests of your children and to look for creative ways to fund school projects that will benefit all our boys. We hold 4 meetings a year and assist with functions throughout the year. Our P&F is a great group of parents who love supporting the boys and the school and we welcome new parents to join us to find out how easy but also fulfilling it is.
The positions that are up for election this year are:

While a lot of us have been on the committee for many years, most of us will be in the school for at least another year and will therefore be available to assist and shadow where required.
