REPORT FROM OUR TRAVELERS ....

MRS MCGUIRK and MR CHICKEN

Mr Chicken arrived in London after a very long flight with Mrs McGuirk. His first stop was of course Buckingham Palace to visit the Queen and watch the changing of the guard but the gates were locked. Maybe Queen Elizabeth was busy that day and the guards were tired from all that changing. Well, Mr Chicken decided to give her a call but again there was no answer. Mr Chicken was persistent, so he found a friendly police lady but she was busy too. Mr Chicken wondered why everyone seemed so busy. "Never mind," he thought,  "I’ll take Mrs McGuirk for a ride on the London Eye".

WOOLWORTHS EARN AND LEARN

Between 1st May and 25 June, 2019 Woolworths are again running their "Earn & Learn" promotion.  Boxes have been placed at both East and West Woolworths Supermarkets.  Stickers are issued with purchases from the supermarkets and you can either deposit your stickers in the box or send them to school.  You are encouraged to enlist the aid of family, friends and neighbours in the collection of stickers.

In 2017 an incredible amount of equipment was "earned" at St. Nicholas School, benefiting our children in several Key Learning Areas.  It would be amazing if we could repeat this effort.

The response to this initiative so far has been AMAZING.  To date, we have over 6,000 stickers!!!  A huge "Thank You" to all who have sent in their stickers or placed them in the boxes at the two Woolworths stores.  Please keep up the amazing work .
