Year 5 Arcade Game Day

Year 5 Arcade Game Day

This term in Design and Technology, the Year 5 students have worked with recycled materials to plan, design, build and evaluate arcade games.

This week we invited the other Primary students to play our games at lunch and recess.

We raised $283.20 which we will donate to the Catholic Charities Appeal.

Below are some reflections from students:

Daniel M - I thought our game went really well and all the money raised can help the poor people to have a greater future.

Liam H - We designed the whole thing from scratch and I enjoyed the project.

Rohan - It was an interesting project and some games raised more money than others and some were harder to play.

Angus - It was good! It was fun building stuff and making it work and having customers play our design.

Jordan - All of the games went really well. I am proud of how I painted my game with my Dad’s help.

Levi - It was a great experience making our design and I was inspired by Caine’s Arcade.

Josh - It opens up our creativity and I am proud of how much money we raised.

Alex - It was an enjoyable experience and it was fun to build with other people.
