Junior School dress up day

Martha and Raphael in their winning Halloween creations

Getting into the Halloween spirit

On the 30th of October, the year 7s and 8s dressed up for an early Hallowe’en, as there was no celebration on the 31st due to lockdown. There was a Hallowe’en catwalk, where mostly students and some teachers paraded their costumes in front of a panel of teacher judges. The winners were: me in 1st place and dressed as Carrie, Raphael in 2nd place and dressed as a plague doctor, and in a tie for 3rd place, a group costume dressed as an angel and a devil and a zombie. I think if I had to pick 2 favourite costumes, it would be Raphael’s, because his mask was handmade and looked really creepy, and Ms. Keenan-Mount who dressed up as a satirical Trump supporter.

All in all, the early Hallowe’en was really fun, and a great substitute for my favourite holiday!
