News from our Principal

 Mrs Karen Lamarre

Dear Parents and Carers,

I trust you are all well.

You have now experienced the new digital Newsletter! We would love your feedback. This platform is easy for parents to access and find relevant information. We will be adding additional tiles to this digital platform to keep you informed. A new tile this week "Praying for You...." has been added. If you have a birth in your immediate family or a death, and you would be happy for us to communicate this with the community, please email info@olfcaringbah.catholic.edu.au with your information to be included. In our communication, we share information, future events and points of celebration with families. The mediums we have developed and use to communicate with you are, COMPASS (important that parents notify the office if they are not able to access and this is your lifeline for information), the bi weekly digital NEWSLETTER,  school FACEBOOK (a number of postings are done each week K-6 bringing the daily life of school to you) https://www.facebook.com/Our-Lady-of-Fatima-Primary-School-Caringbah-101865544513616/ and our school WEBSITE https://www.olfcaringbah.catholic.edu.au/. Our Communication is only effective if accessed. Thank you for keeping connected.

This week has been the commencement of our Kinder 2021 families to our wonderful school. The Play Dates with Mrs Tracey Bowler have been very well received.

Next week the  2021 Kinder Students visit their classrooms for a Transition Session for the very first time. We are all very excited! At this session they will take home their new school and library bags and their hats!   We do have a few positions to fill for K 2021, if you know of a family who are wishing to enrol their children, please invite them to visit our school.

On the Assistant Principal tile of this newsletter, the results to the Tell Them From Me Survey are summarized. Thank you to those parents who engaged in this process to provide data for the school to further develop moving forward. Please note a Cyber Bullying  link provided to support you. Of late, we have dealt with as a community many external issues with Social Media. This link provides strategies to assist you as parents at home.

Tomorrow morning a number of our Year 2 students are making the Sacrament of Reconciliation. The students are well prepared and ready to receive this beautiful sacrament. Thank you to the parents, Fr Julian and Fr Moises and the teachers for their assistance and for the students for their engagement. Please keep these students in your prayers.

God Bless,

Mrs Karen Lamarre l PRINCIPAL
